v0.1 Private
beta From vault to revenue Powered by AI
Everything the Agent Does, and Everything It Does Not.
Written for shop owners, not developers. If something here is unclear or turns out to be wrong, tell us — the page gets fixed, not the excuse.
What VFA is
VFA is an AI agent that reads your store and answers questions about it in a Telegram chat. You ask in plain language, it replies with numbers taken from your live catalogue.
It is read-only. It can see products, variants, prices, stock levels and orders. It cannot edit, delete, refund, restock or publish anything. That is a deliberate limit, not a missing feature.
Your catalogue
Products, variants, SKUs, prices, inventory levels and recent orders, through Shopify's official Admin API.
In Telegram
A private chat between you and your agent. No dashboard, no extra login.
Writes
No price changes, no stock edits, no order actions. The token you create does not grant them.
Connecting your Shopify store
Roughly ten minutes, all of it inside your own Shopify admin. You never give us a password, and you can cut the connection yourself at any time.
Request access
Fill the form on Get your agent. We reply by email with your private Telegram invite.
Create a custom app in Shopify
In your Shopify admin go to Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps, then Create an app. Name it VFA. This is Shopify's own mechanism for private integrations — nothing is installed from an app store.
Tick the read permissions
Open Configuration → Admin API integration and grant exactly these four, all read-only:
Install and copy the token
Click Install app, then reveal the Admin API access token. It starts with shpat_ and is shown once. Send it to your agent in the private Telegram chat — not by email, and never in a public group.
First sync
The agent reads your catalogue and replies with how many products and variants it found. If that number looks wrong, say so straight away — it usually means a permission is missing.
| Scope | Why the agent needs it |
|---|---|
read_products | Titles, variants, SKUs and prices |
read_inventory | Stock levels per variant and per location |
read_orders | What sold, when, and how much of it |
read_locations | Which warehouse or shop the stock sits in |
If you are asked to grant any write_ scope, something is wrong. Stop and tell us.
Two clicks, no questions
In Shopify, open the custom app and choose Uninstall, or revoke the token. The agent goes blind immediately — there is nothing to cancel on our side and no data left to be useful to anyone.
What you can ask
There are no commands to memorise. Write the way you would to a colleague. These are the areas the agent is good at today.
| Area | Example | What comes back |
|---|---|---|
| Daily trade | "What sold today?" | Orders, revenue, the products behind them |
| Low stock | "Am I running low on anything?" | Variants under threshold, with days of cover left |
| Best sellers | "Top 5 this month" | Ranked by units or revenue, your choice |
| Dead stock | "What hasn't sold since September?" | Products with no orders in the period, and the money tied up |
| Stock value | "How much is sitting in the warehouse?" | Units multiplied by cost or by price |
| Lookups | "Show me everything under 50 euro" | A filtered list, shortest useful form |
| Summaries | "Give me the week in five lines" | A short digest, no charts |
Be specific about the period
"This month" and "last 30 days" are different questions and give different numbers. If you do not say, the agent picks a sensible window and tells you which one it used.
What it cannot do yet
This list is kept current on purpose. If something moves off it, that is a release note, not marketing.
No writes
It cannot change prices, adjust stock, fulfil or refund. By design in the beta.
One store per agent
Multiple stores under one account is planned, not built.
No proactive alerts
It answers when asked. Push notifications for low stock are next on the list.
Shopify only
WooCommerce and others are on the roadmap. Nothing else is supported today.
It can be wrong
It is a language model reading real data. Check anything that would cost you money before acting on it.
No customer replies
It talks to you, not to your buyers. It never touches your storefront or your inbox.
Your data
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| What is read? | Products, variants, prices, stock and order totals. Customer names and addresses are not needed and are not requested. |
| Where does it go? | Your question plus the relevant slice of store data is sent to an AI model to compose the answer. |
| Is it sold or shared? | No. Not sold, not shared, not used to advertise to you. |
| Is the token safe? | It is stored encrypted and used only to read your store. It is never shown in the chat again after setup. |
| Can I get everything deleted? | Yes. Ask, and your store data and token are removed. Revoking the token in Shopify stops access instantly either way. |
If sending store data to an AI model is not acceptable for your business, this tool is not for you — and that is a fair call to make.
When something looks wrong
The product count after the first sync is too low
Almost always a missing permission, usually read_inventory. Open the custom app in Shopify, check the four scopes, save, and ask the agent to sync again.
It says it cannot reach my store
The token was revoked, regenerated, or pasted with a space at the end. Create a fresh token and send it again.
A number does not match my Shopify admin
Check the period first — "today" follows your store's timezone, and admin reports often default to a different window. If it still disagrees, send us both screenshots: that is a bug and we want it.
It answers something unrelated
Ask again with the period and the product named explicitly. If it keeps drifting, tell us the exact question — those are the cases that improve the agent.
It has not replied at all
The beta runs on a single small server and it can be restarting. Give it a minute, then write to us.
Still stuck?
